Poetry Cafe
To celebrate National Poetry Day, we enjoyed some poetry based activities in our 'Poetry Cafe'. On the menu was: poetic popcorn (rhyming), alliteration appetisers, a shape poem main and a sweet rhyme sundae. We also shared and read poems, while we enjoyed a drink and a biscuit!
Shadow Puppets
We have show cased everything that we have learned in our science topic on lights and shadows, by putting on some shadow plays.
Wellbeing Day
We had lots of fun on Wellbeing Day! We made sensory gardens, thought about our emotions and explored the connections we have with people. We even had a Nerf battle!
Father Christmas!
We were lucky to have Father Christmas visit us at school. All Kingfisher children are on the nice list. Phew!
Trip to Lincoln Castle
We had a fabulous day at Lincoln Castle. We took part in an archaeological dig and handled real and replica artefacts. We found out about Roman Lincoln and got ready to be Roman soldiers, taking part in a battle!
World Book Day
We had a busy day creating characters and places from our imagination. We made new dust jackets for our books and made origami book marks. We had fun sharing our books with children from other classes in the school.
Archery
As part of our Wellbeing Day, we had lots of fun with archery.
